# Quick Quotes: The Autonomous Quoting Pipeline

> Use Prophic's autonomous Quick Quotes pipeline to turn a client brief into a priced quote quickly using Quotation Configurations.

Quick Quotes are Prophic's autonomous quoting pipeline. Instead of setting up a full Project with a Configuration Template, Quick Quotes read from **Quotation Configurations** so you can turn a brief into a priced quote quickly.

## Where to find Quick Quotes

Open Quick Quotes from the **Projects area, then Quick Quotes** in the left navigation, or click **Create Quick Quote** from the Dashboard quick actions.

## Before you start

* Ensure at least one **Quotation Configuration** exists under **Configurations, then Quotation Configurations**.
* Ensure at least one **Proposal Template** is set up under **Configurations, then Proposal Templates**.

## Create a Quick Quote

    Navigate to the Quick Quotes page from the left navigation or Dashboard.

  <Step title="Start a new quote">
    Click **Create Quick Quote**.
  </Step>

  <Step title="Provide the brief">
    Paste the client brief into the input area and add any supporting details as supported.
  </Step>

  <Step title="Generate the quote">
    Run the generation step. Prophic uses the active Quotation Configuration to produce a priced quote.

## Quick Quotes vs Projects

Quick Quotes use **Quotation Configurations** for fast, autonomous quoting. Projects use **Configuration Templates** with scope versions, full five-stage pipeline tabs, and customer records. Choose Quick Quotes for speed and Projects when you need full scoping, estimation control, and change-request tracking.

## Plan limits

Quick Quote limits vary by plan:

* **Free**: 5 total
* **Prophic Pro**: 100 per month
* **Prophic Teams**: Unlimited
* **Enterprise**: Unlimited
