How they differ
When to use which
Use Projects when
- You are responding to a formal RFP or complex client engagement.
- You need the full five-stage pipeline with review at every step.
- You expect change requests and want scope versions tracked inside one workspace.
- You want the estimate driven by a Configuration Template with your exact service roles, rates, and buffers.
Use Quick Quotes when
- You need a fast, autonomous turnaround without creating a full project.
- The brief is straightforward and does not need multi-stage review.
- You want the pipeline to run against Quotation Configurations rather than a project-level template.
- You are doing high-volume quoting and want to stay within your Quick Quotations plan limit.
Plan limits for Projects and Quick Quotations vary by tier. See Plans and Billing for the full comparison. To control how the AI behaves at each pipeline stage, set Custom Instructions per stage.
